Pete Helmkamp of ANGELCORPSE, REVENGE, and let's not forget ORDER FROM CHAOS along with Cazz Grant who is known for the deep underground bands CRUCIFER and GRAND BELIAL'S KEY comprise the lineup of ABHOMINE. Both of which have led long established and dedicated careers within the metal underground. "Proselyte Parasite Plague" is relentless and wastes no time building atmosphere filled with a harsh attack of fire and flame scorching war metal that is an absolute beast.
Helmkamp and Grant create an interesting spin on the War Metal genre. It feels old and new at the same time creating harsh and barbaric metal of dynamic sonic proportions. A bit of REVENGE, a hint of BLACK WITCHERY, a dash of ORDER FROM CHAOSE, a smidge of ANGELCORPSE bleniding together with the raw edge of CRUCIFER
and you get the bastard offspring that is ABHOMINE! Harsh yet refined which honestly keeps you listening.
