Surrounded by snow covered mountains ALDAARON deliver yet another majestic and pure Black Metal album with a matured and dedicated to the "true" sound. Atmospheric in the right ways, where you are consumed by the bleak, tortured by the cold howling winds and lost within the feeling of being amongst the isolated frostbitten and unforgiving mountains. It is no surprise to us here at DHR how excellent this album is since we have been following every release as an official outlet since their debut. The music of ALDAARON will most definitely appeal to those who are worshippers of the old school early wave black metal releases! Each album has continuously delivered well crafted, ice cold traditional black metal in the vein of the greats! One of the finest in today's underground!
Par-del? les cimes" explores both physical and symbolic heights. While it cannot be precisely translated, the closest English equivalent might be "Above and Beyond the Peaks". The title evokes both an inner quest and an exploration of the mysteries that lie beyond the visible mountains, staying true to the essence of the project.
Musically, this album is a journey through majestic and desolate sonic landscapes, where each note resonates with the icy wind and the vastness of imaginary peaks. Composed of four tracks, each crafted as a standalone piece, it blends epic and melancholic melodies, powerful choirs, and clean vocals to deliver an immersive and cohesive experience on the over 40 minutes of music on this epic masterpiece!
