The drums are once again throned by Tony Laureano who obviously is one of the best drummers in modern death metal. The music on "Relinquish" is focused heavily on relentless technicality, however extremely memorable which never "wears out its welcome". AURORA BOREALIS have consistently delivered album after album of timeless brutality that is eloquent enough to stand beside the masters. One of the most overlooked and underrated band of this genre from the USA. Not very often do you come across an album this brutal and technically demanding that still manages to incorporate memorable and captivating songwriting. All hail AURORA BOREALIS!
