In 1993 one of the more crucial demo-tapes to ever crawl out of the old Swedish Black Metal underground was unleashed upon the earth. No grand introductions needed. CHALICE and ILLSKA were directly tied into the rotten core of SVARTSYN and UNPURE through the shared presence of Ornias Kolgrim and Draugen.

This long sold-out split stands as a relic from an era when Black Metal was still dangerous still primitive still forged in cold basements and dead forests. Each band delivers two tracks of absolute early 90s Black Metal — raw hateful unpolished and summoned with the same spirit that defined the first wave of Swedish darkness.
