CHIRAL is an Italian one-man Black Metal / Folk band, from the countryside near Piacenza, Italy, started at the end of 2013. CHIRAL incorporates musical elements of the North-East USA Cascadian Black Metal, atmospheric as well as raw black metal influences with a special taste for acoustic instruments by the likes of OPETH and FALLS OF RAUROS. CHIRAL's second demo "Abisso" now released as a full-length CD. Deep underground connoisseurs you must follow CHIRAL into the "Abisso", a sonic whirlwind of ancient sounding, blazing blackened death metal with melodic interludes of acoustic guitar and piano which is clearly inspired by early OPETH. This is of course delivered in a primitive and raw but no less potent skill of musicianship. These interludes dynamically flow into 90's inspired black metal of which the production perfectly creates and enveloping atmosphere of early wave nostalgia.
