A cornerstone of Finnish black metal darkness, this split unites Horna and Behexen at the height of their early-2000s ferocity — two covens delivering pure, unfiltered malice with absolutely no compromise.

HORNA’s side is a blast of raw, frost-bitten aggression, steeped in the band’s trademark ritualistic filth. The riffs slash with that unmistakable Shatraug coldness — minimalist, repetitive, and hypnotic in the way only true Finnish black metal can be. The production is harsh and unadorned, capturing the band in its most primitive and venomous form.

This is HORNA channeling the old spirit: hateful tremolo lines, hammering drums, and vocals that feel like they’re being spit directly into the void.

BEHEXEN answers with a darker, more occult-charged assault. Their tracks drip with ritual atmosphere — slower, heavier, and more suffocating than HORNA’s frantic attack. The vocals are commanding and possessed, echoing through a haze of smoke-drenched riffs and ceremonial pacing.

Where HORNA is frost and fury, BEHEXEN is torchlight and invocation, delivering black metal steeped in blasphemous mysticism and spiritual violence.
