HJEMLENGSEL is a Norwegian atmospheric doom metal duo from Oslo. Their debut album, "Nimmermeer", features six songs with a total runtime of just under an hour. Blending traditional doom metal elements with unexpected instruments like accordion, cello, and flute, alongside drums, bass, and guitar. This unconventional mix adds depth and intrigue to their sound. The song "Fjøreplytt" a beautiful instrumental track dedicated to the Norwegian coastal bird, the "Meerstrandläufer" delivers depth and complexity.
