HORDES OF THE LUNAR ECLIPSE is a project of Luathca, Tophetarath, and Nacht former members of the cult US black metal bands FOG and TYPHUS, they are also former and active members of the bands DYSPERIUM, PTAHIL, WARKULT, and THE LURKING CORPSES. The 2010 album "Darkbourne" is the second by the band and the first to feature Nacht of TYPHUS on guitars. HOTLE delivers a strong album that is esoteric, diverse, and ferocious black metal with an atmosphere that is ice cold, haunting, and at times melodic. A lost obscure gem in an ocean of underground black metal that is deserving of your attention.
