MOLOCH's Verwüstung (translated-Devastation) and it weaves effortlessly through different levels of low fi arrangement mixed with elements of ambient and classic black metal sounds. The structure of each track is tight and well thought out, yet this offering manages to relay a sense of inner turmoil and chaos. The songs venture on along a dark and dusty road through barren lands and, along the way, more and more corpses appear. MOLOCH has most certainly produced one of their best records yet. It is also at a much better length for digesting the music. At just under 45 minutes, it short enough that after it's over, you will want to hear it again.
