For over two decades, CDN RECORDS has stood as one of Canada’s most reliable conduits for underground extremity — a label and distro forged in the country’s frostbitten death metal trenches. Operating with a no-compromise ethos, CDN has built a reputation for championing bands that exist far outside the polished mainstream: raw death metal, guttural brutality, blackened hybrids, and the kind of regional Canadian acts that would otherwise remain buried beneath the ice. Their catalog is a testament to dedication — a curated arsenal of savage full-lengths, cult EPs, and long-lost reissues that preserve the true lineage of Canadian extreme metal.

In the modern era, CDN continues to operate with the same DIY spirit that defined the early Canadian scene — direct support for bands, physical media first, and a commitment to keeping extreme metal tangible. Whether it’s a freshly unearthed Canadian cult gem or a new slab of worldwide brutality, CDN RECORDS remains one of the most dependable sources for true underground metal, and a label Dark Horizon Records is proud to spotlight within our distro ranks.
