This piece of green vinyl is already some years old; DHR were lucky to pick up a few copies recently. Released in 2003 by the German underground zine and label German Underground Crossection (G.U.C.) and features the German Death Metal bands PURGATORY and POLYMORPH. On the PURGATORY side you will find three songs, which were originally intended to be released as a split with the German band CHARON, however the split was never released. You get two cover songs, one of the legendary AUTOPSY ("Fiend For Blood"), and one by the almighty TERRORIZER ("Corporation Pull-in"). Both songs were tracked during the recording-session for the "Blessed With Flames Of Hate" album back in 2000. The third one is a live version of their own song "Captured Souls", recorded also in 2000 at an open-air festival in PURGATORY's hometown Nossen Germany. POLYMORPH offer up two studio tracks, which were recorded in 2002. They play fast Death Metal with sick old school vocals. Both sides of this deep underground death metal 10" MLP is raw and brutal, in the essence of the golden era. The production is good and fits well the classic attitude of the early days of death metal. For the underground death metal fanatic that may have missed this, now is the time!
