There are a number of principal influences that stand out instantly which consists of the dark, dank and forbidding stylings of old New York death metal while also weaving in a web of blackness that totally makes "Dawn Of Depravity" a diamond within the ocean of underground death metal bands. While REBEL SOULS combine the heavy-ended rage that could be considered similar in nature to early IMMOLATION, MORBID ANGEL or even bands like Poland's DAMNATION or TRAUMA, there also flows an interweaved influence of technical elements inherited and inspired from the sound of SUFFOCATION. While primarily inspired by Death Metal REBEL SOULS perfectly blend a chilling atmospheric dread and beastly fury that can be compared to bands like BEHEMOTH, or possibly VLTIMAS. "Dawn Of Depravity" is 10 furious hymns of blasting brutal darkness filled with epic dynamic moments and excellent leads.
