SATHANAS take the opening slot, a band that has been hammering the underground with their blackened Death Metal since 1988, originally operating under the name BATHYM in their earliest days. They deliver two crushing tracks here, both tracks are undeniable highlights of this split. Raw and pure old-school savagery: hard-hitting, uncompromising, and direct in the way you want it to be. No modern tricks, no unnecessary layers, just straight-to-the-throat Death Metal exactly as it was meant to be played. Absolutely saturated in HELLHAMMER and POSSESSED along with the SATHANAS flow, this is completely mandatory.

On the flip side we find NUNSLAUGHTER, a band whose full discography borders on being completely uncollectable, with almost 300 releases under their belt, the sheer volume of material unleashed by this grotesque American Death Metal institution is nothing short of absurd. Making it almost impossible to track down everything! Front man Don Crotsley once again demonstrates that decades of experience does not have to come at the cost of conviction, intensity or traditon. Where this man continues to find the drive is a mystery, but the results completely speak for themselves. NUNSLAUGHTER contribute three brutal Death Metal rippers that hit with undiminished force. Raw, direct, and drenched in that unmistakably filthy tomb rot NUNSLAUGHTER sound, these tracks waste no time and pull no punches. There are no surprises here, no attempts at reinvention, and that?s precisely where the strength lies.

This split release showcases two pillars of underground Death Metal delivering exactly what they?re known for. SATHANAS open with two fierce, old-school tracks rooted in pure, unpolished aggression. NUNSLAUGHTER follow with three filthy, high-energy cuts that embody their signature rawness and relentless output. Both bands stay true to their classic sound, offering nothing more than "True" authentic, uncompromising old school Death Metal.
