Starting out on Drowned Productions in 1992 the band has released albums on WWIII Records, Gorgiastic and Sevared Records to name a few. In 2018 the band released their newest album "The Concession Continuum" themselves. Stylistically SEVERANCE have slowly morphed over the years from a traditional raw and brutal death metal sound into a dissonant technical death metal band with a slight djent feel to their material on the new album. If you have any of their back catalog in your collection you will most definitely want to check out "The Concession Continuum". Especially if you find the latest Gorguts interesting.
