A prolific and veteran entity within the Extreme Metal community, T.O.M.B. (Total Occultic Mechanical Blasphemy) exists in the wide-open space between genres, melding Noise, Black Metal, Industrial, and Ambient soundscapes into a hellish cauldron of unease and terror. Their sixth full-length album "Thin The Veil" boasts a premier production job courtesy of Tore Stjerna of Necromorbus Studios in Sweden as well as album art provided by Erik Danielsson of WATAIN fame. The percussive contributions of Jan Axel Blomberg, aka Hellhammer, well known drummer for Mayhem and Arcturus, alongside collaborations with musicians such as Craig Smilowski (Ex-IMMOLATION), Andy Winter of WINDS, Duncan McLaren of VENOM WOLF, and with spoken necromancy spells recited by Maurice De Jong ("Mories" of GNAW THEIR TONGUES) absolutely rounds out what is certainly a star-studded effort.

T.O.M.B.’s music will appeal to those seeking the ice-cold and haunting days of the past. Vocalist No-One (AKA Gannon ex DETERIORATE) and Guitarist Samantha Viola have cooked up an absolute firestorm which delivers a return of darkness and evil that conjures up a spirit of the days of BEHERIT. Reminding one of when Black Metal had that unhinged feeling of true "necro" behind it. Accomplished with a manic Industrial and even War Metal approach that conjures up memories of MYSTICUM, RED HARVEST, NORDVARGR, HERESIARCH, yet channels it through their own superb crucible of creative dissonance. Over the twenty plus years of their existence T.O.M.B have skillfully crafted their own avant-garde style of music, which is characterized by an eclectic mix of Ambient, Doom, Industrial, Noise and traditional Black Metal. "Thin The Veil" delivers a unique and harsh atmosphere combined with a relentless, fierce and primitive form of musicianship reminiscent of the old glory days of second wave Black Metal. It is a style that has earned the band a well-deserved place as one of the top innovators within modern-day Black Metal.
