The tortured trio THOTH deliver a most severely grim slab of depressive black metal on their first album from 2008 titled "From The Abyss Of Dungeons Of Darkness". The band is a collaboration of some well-known effigies from within the Polish Black Metal scene which includes Necro of SELBSTMORD and OHTAR, Krzysztof of DARK FURY, and the mighty Rob Darken of GRAVELAND and LORD WIND. As expected, THOTH has a very raw streak to their sound which adds to the lamenting atmospheres. A monument of early BURZUM and GRAVELAND styled riffs with epic and raw dynamics that are completed by the wailing BURZUMIC styled vocals. "From The Abyss Of Dungeons..." is haunting, ice cold and grim. For those who slice their wrists for the days of old! This is your chalice to take your sacrament!
