A similar beast to NUNSLAUGHTER in regard to the numerous amounts of releases put out, THRONEUM's "Deathmass Of The Gravedancer" marks their fifty-second release overall, counting as their eleventh Full-length. THRONEUM originally crawled into existence under the moniker THRONE back in 1996 and carried that title up until the turn of the millennium. Eventually changing their name to THRONEUM due to another band already being known as THRONE. That aside, very little has changed in regard to the general feel and approach of the band. THRONEUM deliver their weaponized music of very gritty, dirty and gravelly vicious which is chaotic, menacing and severely old-school by design and most certainly very effective. "Deathmass Of The Gravedancer" feels current enough for it to still hold up in this modern day and age, with dark themes of death and blasphemy that is filled with pure aggression.
