The second album from the old school German black metal band UNGOD. Formed in Winter 1991 with the intention of bringing back the old metal spirit, UNGOD went on to release several demos and EPs before unleashing their first full length album in 1993, "Circle of the Seven Infernal Packs" which received a lot of appreciation. It would take 15 years to see another gem of an album which is "Cloaked in Eternal Darkness." Grossly underappreciated UNGOD deserve a second look. This is a monster of a release which takes UNGOD to new level of ice-cold grimness. "Cloaked in Eternal Darkness" has all the ingredients that make extreme metal fans slice their wrists. Razor sharp guitars and haunting vocals are hallmarks of this album. These German misanthropes delivered an album as evil, old school, and primitive as possible; and they did not fail on any level. Long time black metal fans get ready to be surprised by that one occult gem you wished you had heard years ago!
LP 1 includes the album; 7" EP includes "
