UNLORD plays blast-oriented, traditional Euro black metal. And on their third album "Lord Of Beneath" the tracks are fast, evil and Satanic. UNLORD are solid enough songwriters to have an individual sound that whispers of homage to DARK FUNERAL or MARDUK. Originally unleashed in 2002, ultra-violent black metal was somewhat on the wane, yet UNLORD stuck to their guns and released the blistering "Lord of Beneath". While the cover hues are a mysterious freezing flames blue, "Lord of Beneath" was just as fiery as its two full-length predecessors, arguably, even more so! UNLORD remained as uncompromising as ever, and there was never a change in sound for the scene's ever-fickle tastes. As such, their third and sadly, final album finds a rarely rivaled balance between utterly unhinged speed and powerfully precise execution.
