Why can't clothing be shipped Media Mail?
SHIPPING OPTIONS - MEDIA MAIL - URGENT MESSAGE!!!
Unfortunately, as of January 2018, the Postal Service has been routinely inspecting USPS Media Mail packages for T-SHIRTS, HOODIES, PATCHES, FLAGS, and any other form of clothing or items not eligible for the Media Mail rate.
Note: Media Mail shipping is a cost-effective way to ship within the United States but is restricted to sound and video recordings, such as CDs, LPs, Tapes, DVDs, VHS Tapes, as well as printed paper products, such as, magazines, books, posters, etc.
Note: U.S. customers are very welcome to select USPS Media Mail for the cheapest shipping option on items that are eligible for the rate. The delivery time usually takes 7-10 days depending on where you live.
Note: For example, the maximum package weight for Media Mail is 70lbs (31.8kg) and will only cost roughly $37.90. That's around 280 CDs or 80 vinyl LPs, which is very affordable!
