STYLE: Technical Death Metal

A surgically precise and skin-stripping debut from Reykjavik’s rising force in extreme metal, EPIDERMAL VEIL deliver a five-track ritual of technical death metal brutality steeped in anatomical mysticism and cold Icelandic hostility. Psalms of the Flayed is a calculated assault—modern in execution, underground in spirit, and drenched in flesh-obsessed extremity. The band’s frostbitten roots sharpen their sound into something both disciplined and cruel, with slicing guitars, crushing percussion, and vocals that cling like dried blood. The production highlights their technicality without sacrificing atmosphere, keeping everything tight, dangerous, and relentlessly intense across all five tracks.
