"Visions of Agony" is a filthy, blood-soaked slab of Canadian death metal barbarity, carved straight from the same decaying bone pile as BOLT THROWER, AUTOPSY, GRAVE, and early MASSACRE. EXPUNGED deliver the kind of rotten violence that feels like it was recorded in a damp crypt with nothing but a burning hatred for modern polish. You will instantly recognize this as the real fucking deal. This is death metal for the diehards — the lifers who still blast Infernal Overkill, Left Hand Path, and Severed Survival at ear bleeding volumes. EXPUNGED aren’t reinventing anything; they’re reviving the rot, dragging the genre back to its primitive, blood-soaked roots with absolute conviction. "Visions of Agony" is ugly, relentless, and proudly barbaric — exactly the kind of release that belongs in the Dark Horizon Records distro! If you are into Death Metal and you do not check these guys out you are truly missing out. Absolutely essential!
