Norway has always delivered some of the best black metal throughout history. Is it because of their enormous forests? Their long dark winters? Who knows, but FIMBULWINTER's "Servants of Sorcery" is a criminally overlooked album, with a very unique sound to it, which really demonstrates a prototype of Norwegian black metal considering it was first released in 1994. The album is solid, and should certainly be consumed for it's pure essence if you enjoy early black metal that truly did come first. From ashes to ashes, dust to dust, listen to this album and digest it you must...
