A recent repressing of this epic, groundbreaking and monumental album by Norway's GEHENNA. 1994 was a great year for black metal. "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", "Hvis Lysett Tar Oss", "Pure Holocaust" and "Svartalvheim" are only a few of the genre's monumental classics released that year, and for some reason, GEHENNA "First Spell" is overlook, forgotten or excluded from mention, why? So this recent re-issue is very welcome to our store. This album has a creeping and chilling nature that delivers a haunting sound offering a ghostly dismal atmosphere of loneliness, despair, and loss. A classic album from a pioneering band and a must for any black metal collection!
