AVSKY's "Scorn" is another monument to the gods of hatred and nihilism coming two years later in 2010 following up the excellent 2008 album "Malignant". Honing their sound even more, it seems like AVSKY are in constant development and evolution. With monumental and decently long tracks that mix several different styles and subgenres, they?re definitely not afraid of standing out from the crowd, nor to rub the elitist black metal listeners nose into something "outside the box" or "forward thinking". We would consider this as the band?s most coherent and mature output to date. Delivering and album with terrific production, chilly, grim and a haunting atmosphere which entices one to slice themselves deep and then bleed out to the hostility and hatred that is "Scorn".
