KULT OV AZAZEL?s "Destroying the Sacred" marks the fifth full-length assault from these Florida-based desecrators. If you're searching for modern black metal, look elsewhere?this is a relentless barrage of fast, grim, old-school darkness forged in the tradition of DARK FUNERAL, MARDUK, or BELPHEGOR. Tracked at Mana Studio with Brian Elliott, the album delivers a precise, mechanical, grinding intensity that never lets up. Pure, unholy devastation from start to finish. a testament to uncompromising black metal. There?s no trend-chasing here?only blistering speed, grim atmosphere, and the cold ferocity reminiscent to the sound of war! This is black metal in its most hostile and uncompromising form for devotees of pure, traditional black metal.
