Description

ARTIST: Mirk

TITLE: Draconic Hail

STYLE: Black Metal, Dungeon Synth
FORMAT: CD
LABEL: Pagan Fury Records

MIRK returns from the frostbitten depths with a 24-track onslaught of black metal savagery and dungeon synth sorcery, featuring members tied to NIGHNACHT, BARBARIC HATRED, and BALEFIRE. This release feels like something pried from a forgotten time capsule unearthed from beneath a castle stone ? raw, cold, and defiantly unpolished.

"Draconic Hail!" (2025) is the star here... A chilling invocation that sounds like a lost relic from the early USBM underground.

The "Yersinia Pestis" demo adds an extra layer of rot and medieval sickness, giving the release a dual-natured identity: half grim soaring wyrm-fire, half plague-ridden crawl.

This is the kind of release that belongs in a photocopied distro catalog, traded hand-to-hand, whispered about rather than promoted. MIRK channels the essence of obscure, frost-gnarled black metal and lo-fi dungeon synth with absolute conviction. If you crave obscure, frost-gnarled black metal and lo-fi dungeon synth that sounds like it was unearthed from beneath a castle floorboard, MIRK delivers the goods with zero compromise. This is the kind of release that belongs in a hand-stapled zine, traded in dim corners of record shops, whispered about rather than advertised. For those who inhale the medieval plague-ridden aura of OLD TOWER, PAYSAGE D'HIVER, VINTERRIKET, EVILFEAST, SANGUINE RELIC
