Cult Mexican Black Metal! The earliest fires of XIBALBA burn again through this raw excavation of the band’s primordial era — a document of Mexican black metal forged long before studio polish or modern expectations ever touched the name. Ancients 92 Demo remains one of the most important artifacts from the region’s early underground: murky, ritualistic, and steeped in the band’s obsidian-dark Mesoamerican identity. The riffs coil in that unmistakable Xibalban way — hypnotic, mid-tempo curses that feel more like invocations than songs. The 94 rehearsal material pushes even deeper into the cave. Pure tape-hiss worship. Instruments blur into a single shadow, vocals echo like they’re being spat across stone walls, and every moment feels like a private ritual never meant for public ears. This is the kind of recording that separates collectors from tourists — the kind of release that reminds you why the early 90s mattered. As a CD, this compilation this gives these relics a proper home: no bootleg murk, no half-baked transfers, just the original spirit preserved with respect. For anyone tracing the lineage of Mexican black metal, or anyone who understands the value of raw rehearsal energy, this is essential. Not a "new album", not a "remaster" — a historical strike, capturing XIBALBA at their most primitive and most authentic.

Tracks 1-4 written in '91 and recorded in '92, remixed in 2006 from Xibalba's first demo-tape, In Lucescitae Tristis Hiei.
Tracks 5-8 written and recorded in May '94, remixed in 2006 from an old rare reh-demo, The Crown Of Plumes.
Tracks 9-11 taken from the "Ancient Blasphemies Tape '96.
